Fun Weekend Round Up

The Hidden Warriors CIC Fun Weekend took place on the 14th and 15th August 2021 and proved to be a huge success. Our first Community Event that we have organised since forming in 2019 was well received with over 70 children with their parents/carers enjoying the event. This event was organised as part of the Hidden Warriors CIC Sports and Activities for Mental Well-being project that has been funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

The Fun Weekend was held at Silkmore Children’s Centre Stafford and a special thank you must be mentioned to Julie Edwards for supporting and volunteering to make this event a success. The children and families were entertained with, Kevin’s Community Circus, Face Painting, Balloon Modelling, Ice Cream, Bubble Wands, Bouncy Castle and Slide, Colouring and Crafts, Ball Pit and a plethora of giant garden games.

Much fun was had and it was mentioned among the parents that this was just what the children needed after what has been a difficult time for many. No doubt the weather helped.

Thank you to everyone involved and those that attended, we imagine this will not be the last Community Event that we hold.
