A Summer of Sport & Activities

As part of the funding received by The National Lottery Community Fund, many young people benefited over the Summer School Holidays by taking part in Hidden Warriors CIC Sports and Activities for Mental Well-being project. This project in Staffordshire, involved over 100 young people. Young people took part in sports clubs that provided many different activities to build self confidence and social skills. Many of these young people attended Stafford Sports Academy that is operated by Stephen Glover. There was some fantastic feedback from the parents/carers on how their child enjoyed taking part in organised sports/activities. One parent said, ”I’ve cried happy tears seeing how my childs self confidence has grown”.
