Community Support

The community dry food and clothing bank opened for its first time within Stafford February 2023. This community led project is to help with the cost of living. By providing a wide range of food and sanitary products plus the access to clean donated clothes items this project will be a relief for many that may be struggling during these difficult times.

So how have we funded this project? Thanks to organisations such as Co-op Community Fund, Asda Foundation, Toyota Community Fund and Local Councillor Ann Edgeller and the County Council Fund we have been able to provide a safe environment for people and families to visit and choose what they need from what we can offer. It is also a good chance to interact with others over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.

Stocking up the Food and Clothing Bank

By no means will this project solve the problems that people maybe facing but it will go a long way to help reduce some stress in peoples lives.

Lastly, thank you to those volunteering to help support this project. This could not have been achieved without you and the help provided by St Peters Church.
