Hidden Warriors CIC next fundraiser is Weighted Warrior. Our Founder and Director Gavin Tuach will be running 10km every day in October 2023 whilst wearing a 20kg vest.
Moving on from two consecutive years of the Mental Health Kettlebell challenges this new challenge will be the most difficult experienced so far. Not only is 10km a fair distance but to be wearing an extra 20kg will most certainly test the body’s physical ability and mentally.

Place2Be have been supported by Hidden Warriors CIC for the past 2 years as we believe that the work, they carry out to support Mental Health in children is vitally important.
The fundraising platform that we will be using is JustGiving Crowdfunding and a proportion of what is raised will be donated to Place2Be. Our initial target is to raise £1000, a significant sum that will help Hidden Warriors CIC to continue our support to Veterans and their families and for Place2Be to continue their work.
The weighted vest will also display the logos of organisations that are supporting this fundraiser. The velcro patches will be attached to the vest and will feature in all social media updates during the challenge. Wearing the weight during the challenge is to signify the weight someone may feel when facing their own mental health challenges. Help is available from many organisations.
